"Tracer Fluid"

I have just started to play this game. Everything was running smoothly until it was time to drink the tracer fluid. I found it in the fridge. I can pick it up but I cannot, or I don't know how to, drink it.
I have remapped the "Use" key to the "End" key but I don't see how that would matter.

A little help, please!

That is not the right bottle, the tracer fluid bottle you can find in the bathroom go to the door on the left side of the tv. then above the sink you will find the fluid bottle. click left mouse to drink it.

I found it, I think. Blue bottle looks like a thermos. I still can't drink it. I can pick it up and that's it.

yes, then you must click on the bottle again, then it must work..

The location of the Tracer Fluid changes depending on where you look first. As far as the topic at hand . . . try changing the controls back to the default and see if it helps.

There are random items, which can be rotated or moved around, you can not interact with them. Also, there are items required to complete mission allowing you to left click and put it in your pockets or use it.
You are looking for a red bottle (found mine in upper cupboards in the kitchen, took me about 3-4 minutes to search apartment)

For me it was a see-through bottle in the middle drawer under the laptop.

but i really interacted with everything that there was, through away the trash, tried to break the window, etc.
I just wanted to know what is possible in this game, what does it have to offer, how much love did they put into the details. Conclusion: a lot!

this game is easy you can do it without looking for hints and tips online just try playing it without asking for help when you turn it on

easy, easy it is not that easy certainly not for the casual gamer. It is not easy for the casual gamer on normal difficulty. it is doneable but easy its another thing. I have zero times looking for hints or tips online. and when you do that this game is not that easy i can tell you that.

Well, let me see. I have progressed to the point after the brain scan and when things went kablooey for Simon. Finding ones self in an altered reality is disconcerting to say the least and this is where I loose my situational awareness. I keep "bumping into walls" and finding myself at odds as to how to proceed.

I'll figure it out eventually. I hope so anyway.

great, if you need any help just reach this forum and we will help you out. I understand for newcomers that certain mechanics in this game are not for the incidentally gamers as they required some basic qualities. Even me as a hardcore gamer walk into some walls this game.
