I haven't played the safe mode yet, but that would probably be very easy. I would say the game on normal is about average in difficulty. The majority of the game is exploration, but there are a couple of areas that are quite challenging/stressfull.
SOMA is not the kind of game that has a lot of replay value, so make the first time count. So I suggest to at least attempt the normal difficulty first, and if that is too difficult then start over iin safe-mode.
nice 1 year necro
Is there even any option on it? no i think not your are alone and nothingness Simon JArret a robotin a void. There is no level dfficulty you jsut play it feel it all gone wrong and nothing is saving able SOMA!! The very good horror indie game in long time over aaa games
sir, thanks a lot. that worked. i was mid game and i couldn't enjoy the stealth/running parts, but with this i can explore the world in a much more relaxed way without starting the game again from the beginning (and the dark/creepy atmosphere still remains).
i have no clue why the devs did not implement this in the options in the first place.
