I ran SOMA with a 560 Ti and Core i7-920 and 32GB of RAM. However, I did have to turn down the details or it would slow down a lot in some places. SOMA really needs a good graphics card (I now have a 1070).

Ok, maybe I'll just have to upgrade my computer then, thanks!

I'm currently playing through SOMA for the first time with an i5-4690 quad core, 16 GB RAM, Nvidia GTX 970, Windows 7 Home 64-bit and I've had no issues. I've got everything maxed out and haven't had anything weird or glitchy happen.

I'm not a PC genius but it seems like your system would struggle a little bit. One thing you can try is to google "Can You Run It" and check out the first search result. The actual address is "system requirements lab dot com" or something like that. It scans your computer and you can pick from a variety of games and see how your specs compare with the game requirements. The site is completely legit so don't worry about malfeasance.

Alternatively, you can pay the current outrageous price of $6. If it doesn't run, get a refund. Or, of course, just use bittorrent.
