Events between tau and phi ??? [possible spoilers]

Just finished the game. Loved every second of it. Very cool expierence.

I'm just a little confused by what happened during the transit between tau and phi. I'm following the ark as it zips along through the tunnel. It gets ahead of me.

And then it looks like I just fell through the tunnel even though maybe the tunnel still looked intact. So, now I'm walking under the tunnel unsure if the game just glitched out or not. I was able to climb out from under and all of a sudden im in WAU. Didn't really have a chance to stop it, as I had continually been urged to do ever since omicron, because I got chased out.

Did I totally miss something? Did the game glitch out? In my expierence with the story, WAU just kind of blinked out at the very end.

you can either kill the WAU or leave it. Doesn't change anything.

Sounds like you glitched.

I know when I transitioned into the CURIE, I was crouched when the new area loaded.. and I experienced a glitch others experienec where I fell through the floor and started falling straight down the map's empty space looking up at the map.

There are some walls and corners you can glitch through.

You may have glitched through something while heading down that tunnel.

The tunnel starts at Tau and transits cargo over to Phi.

But, the game has you detour through a small hole in the tunnel wall (after noticing the rubble collapse that killed a guy) .. and the detour takes you over to site Alpha... where the creepy guy following you wants you to go kill the WAU.

Sounds like you went that way anyways and were able to clip through the scenery to get back into the normal game map.

Whatever you do with the WAU, you basically head on over to Phi when you're done to wrap things up with the ARK.
