Horde Slayer - My Flaming Sister Build for Insanity (first map)

Just beat the first map on insanity with FS and surprisingly, this run wasn't too bad. Admittedly I did use the Brave Chicken modifier (I probably didn't need to), but hey a win is still a win.

Since her attacks are weak (but fast) we want to increase as much as possible the slay stat. That means you will want to pick the Smoke Assassin Sub-class at level 12. I had used Blasphemy on Freya.

The skills that I'd pick for this run are as follows:
God skills
Thunderstorm - 1/2/3
Vipers - 1/2/3/4
Sentinel - 1/2/3/4

Class skills
Sisterhood Incarnates - 1/2/3/4
Fire Dart - 1/2/3

Passives
Explosive Nature
Gambler's Luck
Rune Master
Jotunn's - Blood 1/2/3
Blood Ritual
Static Charge
Overwhelming Potential - 1/2
Goat Feast - 1/2
Sleipnir's Speed - 1/2/3
Discharge - 1/2
Iron Fan
Master Assassin
Super Nova

In addition I've unlock and selected all the passives from the skill shop for each God.

Basically, you want high DPS skills and great attack speed with high chance to instantly kill non elite enemies. Since you can't see the Slay stat on the overall stat spreadsheet there is no way to see how high it went. And since I was slaying enemies left right and centre, I am going to assume that the stat gains were additive. If that's the case then:

Smoke Assassin - 20%
Master Assassin - 5%
Massacre (Thor) - 15%
Total Slay chance - 40%

With a 40% to slay non elite enemies and with her fast dagger strikes, makes this a fairly easy win. And since my re-rolls and banishes were limited and the fact that I was kind of force to take abilities that I didn't want, this build wasn't even the most proficient. So there is definitely room for improvement.

I had the same issue on my Flame Sister Insane completion with a number of choices I didn't want. It seemed like worse luck than most games but still got through. Practice pays off.

Good to see another player taking Sentinel IV.

On to the next map eh?

Could you name where can we find those spells? I mean which God or Class to pick, besides Loki and Thor?
