Is it just me or Archer and Sorceress are hella weak compared to the Berserker ?

I can only finish normal games with Berserker. I dont yet have most of the meta upgrades yet.

Berserker can both take damage, heal and deal damage. The other 2 are glass cannons, but their DPS sucks so bad they are more like glass pea shooters. When enemies start swarming you their range does not matter at all. Also somehow berserker is better at clearing the ranged enemies.

Others have the same experience or am I just playing the game wrong?

Archer was really bad for me indeed I couldn't do anything. But the Witch was ezmode same as berzerker.

Not my experience at all.
Archer feels overpowered compared to other two. His basic attack always puts out the top DPS numbers by far of anyone. His volley skill to get up to 7 arrows a shot is massively powerful. Get that and attack or two upgrade and he barely needs any active skills to win on hard . Which is good since his actives suck except for focus fire. Web is okay ish for some CC.

Serress does feel a bit weaker and much more skill based to win since you have to maintain the full wards to have enough DPS to get thru the big waves.. So the smallest wrong move can end her run. Still strong enough to win hard mode and the least RNG of the 3 since she gets a lot more rerolls, banish and overall has less worst skills in her list than the other 2 and arguably the strongest active skills making her less god reliant too.

Berserker feels like they did secretly buff him this demo vs the first. Was able to beat hard on him with only around ~55% of meta upgrades vs like 70% last demo. His DPS doesn't feel stronger than archer tho, just far more durable.

Really none of them are reliant on actives anyways since Thors actives are very powerful. Can just aim for them to win. (Sentinel and Thunderstorm in particular)

Well, that was what did it for me, at least. As soon as I got the Virtues upgraded that were available for the Gods, the game immediately started getting more manageable. Even more so when I started upgrading the actual character Virtues. Being able to evade is huge when being swarmed, having a larger health pool and dealing more damage helps a lot, and the damage reduction plus revive help too. Upgrade more stuff and soon Normal will feel easy, then you start formulating your pick strategies for each character on what Class/God Skills to take in a run!

Seems like the game was made a bit easier in the last patch. Enjoying playing other classes and actually feeling strong in normal.

You are not alone. Berserker is the easiest of the classes so far. Great dps and great self heal. I managed to clear normal level immediately with him. But with Archer and Sorceress Im still trying... I made an effort to make them work as much as Berserker works by default but there is a clear imbalance between the classes.

I have no idea what you are even talking about. I haven't even tried the Berserker yet, but have finished and won 3 games with the Archer without any meta upgrades. Definitely a "you" problem.

Its not about archer being weak is about archer being significantly weaker than berserker. Also pulling you have low skill card on him for stating that berserker is much stronger sounds like "you" being a duche problem. His ultimate from last weapon is 50% movement speed and 2x casting speed every 20 seconds. His throw axe deals insane damage to bosses and he has spinning axe paired with that yellow damaging aura that lets you stand in whole map filled with enemies on hard and pick your nose because anything that comes close is instantly killed. If this is not enought you can pick specialization in healing on 12 level that makes you regen about 6 hp per second pair it with passive that heals 5 hp on every crit and you are unkillable. Berserk is absolutely leagues above other 2 classes. Archer cant even get close. So op is right and its not about his skill problem like you insinuated. Like i said its not that the archer is weak its that berserker is godlike.

I also felt like barb is the easiest/best choice as it pairs very well with all goods (even few perks from Loki work just fine).

Definitly other classes need some love. I'd also wish to see the new rouge class? Melee/crit/poison/bleed based char, but much mroe stronger than say Nixi from Death Must Die, where they killed the char (at least for now).

Archers seems to be doing well, only if build in very specific way - Ranger + thror with few dips in Loki.

On the other hand Sorc seems to work well with Thor+the golden lady + sorc.

Anyway, as of current state of game, I can see only 1, viabale build and it is Thunderstorm + Sentinel and than whatever. Its fun, but boring in the long run.

The other classes definitely need more love, as it seems like Berserker got a lot of attention. Especially by making one of his meta upgrades "More Resources for completing a raid", which is not a great "class" meta upgrade at all. If you're going to have upgrades like that, make it it's own unique tree where we can upgrade things about the runs/raids themselves instead of wasting a potential class upgrade.

Hoping that feedback will be seen and some tweaks are made on the characters and upgrade trees
