Sector Maps too Small
I have had some time away from TC because when I built my new computer last year and tried to export the save games( this was pre steam) they were corrupted. I spent a week playing Albion prelude and after completing all the plots maxing all reps i found myself with very little to do so decided to come back to TC but when I started the game my sector maps are so small that they are barely legible. I've tinkered with settings but cant seem to find anything that enables me to alter the size without affecting graphics quality.

I remember sector maps being larger( though maybe not as large as those in AP. Its gonna be a pain to complex construct like this especially when the Argon Prime sector map is about an inch from gate the gate and the stations are practically on top of each other. I will post a screeny of it later so anyone viewing this post can see what i mean

There are two sizes for the maps. There should be a magnifying glass that lets you expand it to a full screen type deal. Hope this helps.

I dont remember there be much change on individual sector layout from X3tc to AP..?
However there two things, where 1 of them may be what you are experiencing.

In AP you were able to set field of view, which could allow you to zoom in or out from your cockpit, this would have an affect on how much you can see.
In X3tc it is fixed.

I also think some of the menus are larger in X3tc than in AP, which limits view.

Only other thing I can imagine experiencing Gates being very close, stations on top of each other, is if you are like 200 Kilometres from the center of the sector, which would make everything clump together. However in X3TC I dont think you can see it because of limited view distance??

Otherwise possibly a bug on your system.
