X3: Terran Conflict

X3: Terran Conflict

İstatistiklere Bak:
Low fps?
My task manager says CPU usage is at 25% and memory is at 30%. Why is this game so slow?

Doesn't matter with its on low settings or maximum settings. Either way I still get the same 20 fps in-game. The only problem I find is that the higher the graphics setting, the slower the MAIN MENU. Not the in-game menus.
mhm...
whats your cpu and gpu?

x3 demands a lot of processor power because it has to calculate a lot
CPU: Compare Intel® Core™ i7-5820K Processor
( 3.60 GHz)

Graphics Card: GTX 470 (1gb)
that should be ok...

i have no other idea what the problem could be...

So after searching around, I have found that the game is poorly optimized for multiple cores. But even in that case, I should still be able to run it with ease.
i have fx 6100 and r9 290x and i play with up to 500 fps... with highest settings...

your specs should do it also
Gaming on:

CPU - AMD FX 8350 Black Edition 4GHz + Turbo to 4,4GHz
RAM - 8GB DDR3 2133
GPU - EVGA GTX760 AXC SC 2GB in 2 Way SLI
HDD - Samsung 160/320GB Sata 2
Audio - HD Realtek 8.1 Channel / 5.1 Surround Sound System from Creative A550 / Headphone of TDK ST-450 Bass + Surround Boosted
MB - ASUS Fatal1ty 990FX Killer (was when i buyd the biggest board i could find for AMD CPUs)
Maus - Power King 2k199213
Keyboard - Hama K212
Screen: Philips 1280x1024/Acer 1600x900

My system is with sinza 10x not even 60 FPs the game has poor Optimizations... wwhile heavy loads runs suddenly @ 60 FPs during low Loads it does not hit 60 FPS WTF is wrong with that game..on my old CPU i had much slower speed (3GHz) and DDR3 @ 1333MHz and it did run on 60 FPS all times ...
I see a few solutions to your problem...

[1] The HD Realtek card isn't for gaming, you need something ..like SB Audigy or better to perform for your system.

[2] SLI doen't perform well in this game....you need to disable it to run on one card.

[3] Performing a game check for corrupt files in the Steam Overlay Menu.
I hope you made a backup of the game....

[4] Heat buildup...yes this will slowdown your system to a craw on running this program with all setting set too high...you will have to check a on board temp program to montitor this as you play the game...

1. Onboard is good enough and i dont need a 200€ sound card i dont produce music or something like that where its really shows its quality levels.

2. SLI isnt the reason both gpus have the same usage.

3. Will do that hope that helps.

4. Nah, its off since i had a MB which just turned of cuz windows always bugs so much..

And i would wonder if X3TC would be a killer when every so high called demanding game runs about 2-3 times smoother than TC will do in this system.
but i quess its the octa core cpu some games doesnt even know what to do with such a cpu for example Colin McRae Dirt 1 will not even start the races when you dont chance the 8 core file and if TC has the same problem i would not wonder since i told you my slower weaker quad core cpu did well in 60 FPS with much slower Mhz in CPU GPU and RAM.
And when i think about this now i think i get lots of lags in old engine games like X3TC or FF8 and COD Ghosts were the engines are just not made for high end and game like BF4 BF3 The Evil Within Watch Dogs X Rebirth runs just so smooth it cannot be the system when the other game are much more demanding..it depends on both system and engine.. well i could write much longer to show you the truth about the lazyness of these days developers but enough about that ♥♥♥♥. I just regret getting a Extreme Octa Core CPU for some older or newer games which bugs with slow downs or to much power..

SB Audgy Card was ‎$29.99, so no..you don't need a music card that produce music...I mentioned a "GAMING" card...these are'nt being made anymore anyway. Too bad you have no idea what a gaming card is.

Like I stated before...you are a gamer that plays games. I was a programmer that produced games...I know what I'm talking about, but since you know more about your situation, there's no point in going into more details about Games requirements in relating to computer memory and how the processor moves that data stream through it.

Windows...differerent operating systems require different driver files...again there is too much involved here to go into more detail than explaining it for just your AMD system...yes, there is a differance in the way processors process the data. Itel has a market into it....that's why they are so many dollars more than AMD...you get value for your product.

In a gaming system, if it's built for that, you get a gaming computer...or you get a pretty lighted fan paper weight computer that won't perform as you expected for games like this one...and every game on the market....period.

SO...you have your options from me, and can do what you will anyway...from the information that you gave, or lack of...that's all I can help you with.

You may have to read over this carefully to fully understand what a Gaming Computer is...

This is just one example of many gaming motherboards out there...study your specs if you are building gaming rigs for resale.

Compare and see the differance. Notice that it mentions Gaming Motherboard. humm...did I mentioned that I build custom gaming rigs?...oops.

But i haven't problems with this board...

so i would say, that the sound card is no problem
Okay. the card is your bottleneck in the system.

It doesn't hurt to look up specs on a card....and compare them.
