X-Tended or X3 Rebalance Mod?
The vanilla game never "clicked" with me, so I'm looking to start fresh with one of these two mods. I've been through both feature lists and both are very attractive. Is there a "big" reason to choose one over the other?

Thanks.

Both are just plain awesome! XTC has a completely overhauled map system; and less new ships, compared to XRM. I'd say get a few non-steam installs (get the EXEs from the Egosoft website legitimately and copy your steam install) and try them all.

Another one I'd recommend is Litcube's Universe; been really into it myself and it's just amazing. Solves lots of the endgame problems, new map but not overly so, lots of fun all the way around! Just be ready to grind!

Depends on whether you like combat or not. One of them is much more combat heavy (and more difficulty in combat as well), than the other. X-tended is less combat focused as far as I've read, but I've only played that for a bit. Haven't tried XRM at all yet.

Ivanov's suggestion for Litcube seems to be a good one, and it will be the mod I'm going to try next, however, it's written for X3: AP, not for TC, so if you only have TC, that's out of the question.

Im playing XRM and once the initial shock wears off you should be able to cruise through like vanilla.
Where can I get X-Tended mod last version?
