Space Amoeba hostility
Space Amoebas are hostile to me and will attack my ships automatically, but they seem to be completely passive to AI empires. I also see there's a galactic law that makes it illegal to kill space amoebas. So is there a policy or something to be able to make them non-aggressive?

I think Xenophile and Pacifist empires can research a special tech to pacify Ameobas.
As for people who are not weaklings, try Flak Cannons + Plasma Cannon on Corvettes or Destroyers, a small fleet of ~600 strength or higher will wipe most roaming squads and get you useful tech research from the corpses.

The law is for killing space squids, not the amoeba, squids are always peacefull, amoebas I'm not sure, sometimes they are, sometimes they aren't, I don't know why.

Depends on your ethics. And the option you picked when researching them.

The Space Amoeba Protection Act isn't about space amoebas?

Didn't know that was a thing, I've been playing stellaris almost every day for the last weeks and only ever seen the conservation of the tyanki one, never saw one for the amoeba pop up.

Tiyanki, Crystals and Amoebae are different factions.
These got separate pacification projects.
The UN got separate resolution for Tiyanki and Space Amoebae.

Void clouds can not be pacified.

Yeah, and if get enacted all empires get the option to get the pacification research ^^
void clouds are passive? I have 2 of them roaming around my stuff, they could have wiped out my entire race in the early game but we just coexist peacefully.

could be VLUUR
https://stellaris.paradoxwikis.com/Spaceborne_aliens
VLUUR is a powerful migrating Void Cloud that has around 32K Fleet Power and is armed with 8 Cloud Lighting weapons. For as long as VLUUR is in a system it will cause a storm that causes -50% Sublight Speed and -15% Fire Rate on ships.

VLUUR is not hostile but can be attacked. It has powerful shields and high Evasion but low hull, and can be defeated deceptively easy with missile weapons. Defeating VLUUR grants 100 Dark Matter and will create various deposits of 1-3 Dark Matter on up to 4 planets in the system it's defeated in.

oh yeah I thought thats what you meant by void clouds. also I thought there were 2 of them lol.

VLUUR is the only passive Voidcloud. There should only be one of them in a galaxy.
