Is there a way to disable dimensional fleet ?
Hi all,

I try not to use it because it seems very unbalanced to me.
I have a lot of astral threads so I can summon it without problem.
Sometimes it's 1M or 2M strong (I don't know why it is so different at each summon

The only time I used it, I beat all sleeping empires with it with no loss to my own fleet.
And the game pretty much lost any interest and I quit.

This one game I decided not to use it, but the computer summoned one I did not see until it feel on my attack fleet. 800k which is roughly 75% of my fleet power. As it was a 1 vs 3 empire fight and they stacked a lot of normal fleet I got wipped.. Outch...

So I'm forced to summon one too, but it really kills all game logic... instant magic fleet needed to win ? While it takes decades if not century to build your normal fleet ?

I would like to remove this from game. Is the only solution to disable the DLC ?

Thanks

Bit late but I've figured out a workaround solution to (effectively) disable the action entirely.

- Go to stellaris/common/astral_actions
- Open "astral_planes_actions" and find the line "action_summon_dimensional_fleet". Everything relevant to this action should be here.

There are a few things I could think to do. The most obvious one is just to change "activation_cost" to a ridiculous number. Like "astral_threads = 999999" or something.

If there's an "ai_weight" setting, if you put it to zero, the AI will never voluntarily use it. I used that technique to disable hyper relays in my game. I *could* build one, but I hate them with a burning heat, and now the AI never builds them, so all is good.
