Currently caravaneers are bugged. If you spam slot machine you can end up getting pop ups you cant get rid of forever and you are forced to restart and make a new game. and another one you just mentioned which is another bug.

I just disable caravaneers until they get fixed they really offer not much other then galatron which is also a very very very low chance of getting. I think game files say its like 1-3% and 75% of nothing. So they offer nothing but bugs and pretty much nothing.

Eh i end tasked my ironman game to undo that and tried over 1000 times and didnt get it so i think a 1% chance of getting it is way to high.

I have no clue how you would even steal it from another empire to get that achievement. Its not something you can just give away right and i dont think the ai could get it.

It's possible the number was too big for the variable to store? Or you created a calculation error.
IPWIW Dec 16, 2019 @ 7:20pm
max number of any resources or ship stats is a little more than 2 million since it's stored as integer and three digits is used for after decimal point
adding more would make it overflow to negative
2,147,483,647
2,147,483.647
Btw are you going for the Galatron? that's only from Reliquary that has a maximum of 6 per game with weight of 1/200 or 0.5%
And I'm not sure if they fix the achievement that was broken by the change of empire modifier to relic

Yeah its like the only achievement i dont have besides the wraith that gets killed before i can find it in all my games.

If i cheese it and reload a reliquary will i eventually get it or all the trys pre programmed beforehand so even if you reload youde never get it etc.

Atm theres just those 2 and the destroying another empires colossus left for me which i decided to get by spamming 15 fanatical/swarm/exterminators on grand admiral so besides the galatron theres nothing else.

Took me 2500 hrs to get the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ war in heaven achievement. From not rivaling to starting it and not giving me the lead an ungodly amount of times it was something else.

Compared to that getting the galatron feels like a walk in the park at 0.5%

It's when you buy it,so reload works

For colossus, some fallen empires spawn with one

Colossus is easy as pie. Just start a game with no normal empires and 5x fallen, and edit your save file to see if any empire spawned with a colossus. If no, restart. Repeat. Takes about 5 minutes to get a game with the colossus.

As for galatron - yup. Save scum away. Rinse, repeat. I haven't done it yet, but it feels like one of the easier "hard" ones to get. Much simpler than the annoying Sol one.

I never knew that.

How do i check if a fallen got a colossus though? Ide need multiple sensor techs i think to see inside their empire.

Is the wraith guaranteed to spawn in a smaller map with no ais to?

If so then i can get all my last achievements in one game.

It's pretty humorous to note that MOO3 had the exact same bug, making your empire go from rich to being broke and scrapping all your stellar-converter toting dreadnoughts lol. That was what 2003? It was a pretty infamous bug that fans quickly and easily patched/modded, (the devs disowned the wreck of a 4x game shortly after release which was actually very unexpected then, Ubi, I'm lookin at you) called strawberry or something. Even a 4x unpaid intern code monkey should almost instinctively know to avoid this hexadecimal blunder. Rookie move Paradox, no banana!

Yeah I actually really enjoyed it too and think it did a lot of things great that I still haven seen in other 4x games. That being said I totally understand why it was so hated. I never got past about 50% of actually finishing a game. They somehow managed to take away direct control of colony dev. and require you to micro every colony every turn at the same time. Good times =)

Same goes for HOMM VI. Everyone hates it but I think it's by far the best, you just gotta know/play around the bugs. Maybe I'm a masochist?

Edit your save file[stellaris.paradoxwikis.com], and just do a search for the text "design="SHIP_COLOSSUS_SECTION". For more info you can look at this guide: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1327370825

** note - when I say "edit", I mean just look at it. So make a copy of the file and edit the copy.

out of almost 2k hours i found the galatron only once. i find sol alot more
Nightmyre Dec 17, 2019 @ 10:14am
It's not a question of finding galatron vs finding sol during a normal playthrough.

For the "Outside Context" achievement, you need to repeatedly restart your game, scan the map for a likely candidate for Sol, hover over each one to see if it actually is Sol, and then get a science ship to that system to see if it is the right era type for the achievement. Even just the first step - scanning to see if it exists - takes a few minutes, between the game start, scanning the map, and then restarting it if you don't find the system. And then actually getting to the system usually takes another 5-10 minutes at least, depending on how far away it is.

On the other hand, for galatron, you just need to buy the reliquary, and if you don't get the galatron, save-scum and retry. It's significantly easier to do.
