Won war, fleet disappeared
So I just laid siege to my enemies Homeplanet and got the Victory-Event.... afterwards all my Fleets in their territory get stucked in Limbo.....

Edit: Goes for all ships and armies... seems to be if theres no direct way (single warp jump) back into your own territory

Same here. Just now won a war while my fleet was fairly far behind enemy lines and now the entire fleet is just gone. It still says I have my ships, they are just nowhere to be found.

The fleet returned to me after like 6 months in enemy Nirvana.... while Im happy my ships are back.... I could loose a war in that time....

This is a design choice (although not well explained). Basically your fleet is lost so far behind enemy lines that they lose contact with you.

They'll spend a few months trying to find a way out of there and will appear randomly somewhere. (See the questionmark icon on the fleet list o nthe right)

This makes one extremly vunerable though, especially when you get that surrender event which you cannot prevent or trigger yourself....

I don't disagree entirely. If it's a peace deal, your fleets should all be force moved to the nearest neutral border that you can legally move to (to avoid wormhole ships getting stuck) and then become movable once they are back in "your" territory.

If you are invading an enemy planet and sign peace your army will also disappear. Care with that.

Can* disappear. But yeah definitely unembark your armies ASAP after you invade a planet successfully. If only to avoid having a 12 psychic warrior army be stuck forever.

If your invasion is ongoing (so the armies are fighting) it WILL disappear.... 2/2 times has it happened to me.... dont want to prove it a third time tho xD

It's happened ONCE to me in the... 45? hours I've played since last Thursday. So it's definitely not an often occuring bug for me. But it's serious enough that I immediately embark my troops and send them home to heal instead of leaving them on the invaded planet for even a month.

Twice for me, its not that big of a deal, but is definetly a bug. My armies still showing up in the tooltip but they simply dont exist.

So basically send a fleet to attack and keep other fleets far away them unless necessary reinforcement. Cos after the attack they get sucked into a warp storm and thrown deep within the warp watched over by Tzeentch as he debilitates and trolls to risk and possibly alter the fate of your empire?

When the war ends, any ships in enemy territory will go missing for a period of time. You should get a notification button showing when the fleet is expected to return.

They're just in transit back. Don't mind them 3:

My fleet has been travelling more than 10 years i think.... And when i try to see when they will arrive, they date is just moving. For example, if they say they will come back day 10, after 1 day, it says day 11 and so... They were not so dar... i have no option but conquer my entire enemy to see if i can get back them :D
