Hi all where do i get rare crystals in game?

You can find some deposits of them on planets and in systems sometimes (rather rare), they need a tech to exploit them and you can get a tech to synthesize them from minerals with a planetary building, or buy them on the market.

If you have Leviathans, you can also set up monthly trade deals with the traders when you find them. 1 crystal/gas/whatever for 5 energy, 2 for 10, etc.

Yea but those are really expensive, since those guys want an upfront payment in addition to the monthly pay.

Engineering research the Crystal Refinery Tech thingy also works.

There is a crystal refinery you can build on your planets. It converts minerals into crystals at a fixed rate. Sadly it cannot be upgraded.

There are also crystal asteroids, but they are kind of rare.
