Love them, especially when I'm playing a trade oriented build and the Numistic Order is around.

I mean sometimes they sell something good as well as the best building in the game (for gestalts only).

I always disable them. Too much fourth wall breaking for my taste.

They're ok. 90% of the time I click "No thankyou go away" but occasionally they offer something useful.

I do like the concept of space nomads, but not the current implementation - they affect too little to be seriously considered.

the notifications get a bit annoying once they offer you the same thing you don't want 10 times in a row.

yes, this... deffinitly need some added content on these guys... one time they were selling minor artifacts and it seemed like it got stuck there because i ended up with like 100 from them before i quit buying from them

Like, pretty much everything about them? From selling loot boxes to dispensing orbital trash as "bombardment", nothing about them exists because it makes sense in the universe of Stellaris. It's all just a collection of silly ideas - which is fine, since they can thankfully be disabled.

Their fun. Helps make it seem more like international trade between empires selling resource to each other...
hey wait a minute the devs didn't give us much visual representation of international trade :o

that lUdiCrIs I need my extra big mack WITH the extra big fries... I need a refund + x2

Conceptually? Yes. In practice, though, I get annoyed by the pop-ups and repeated sales. If I wasn't interested the first hundred times, I probably won't be interested on the 101st either.

I recently did a playthrough where I picked xeno compatability.

The caravaneers sell members of their own races. The rackets have tomb world campatability and psionic. I ended up with a varient of my founder race with tomb world compatability and psionic, but you can't apply a template with psionic to members of a race without it because it can't be added or removed. But I had picked genetic ascension, so I had a variant of my main race with psionic and then genetic ascension traits. Then I used that industrial civic that gives a building that terraforms planets into tomb worlds after 20 years. Then when I had all the tomb worlds i wanted I swapped out that civic for the one that gives the sanctuary of repose. Then with the 6 culture workers from the sanctuary and the 6 from the monument, and the fact that they with my current civics lowered a planet's upkeep by 5% each, I had 60% reduction to upkeep on all my planets. Combine that with radiotropic to get really low upkeep pops on my tomb worlds.

The numistic order rarely sells a variant of their race that has a unique trait but I haven't tried to xeno compatability it onto my main race yet.

I refuse to buy mega Corp until disabling caravanears enables nomads. Getting 5 cruisers or a vassal early on is sweeet. And the ship design and more is great.
