HOW TO GET RID OF PLANETS?

Ima play as robot Extreminator, so I try to conquer as fast as I can, and becuse my fleet is strong as hell I do this all time, but because all xenos around me have like at least 10 planets colonized per empire now I have over 20 planets. My Enrgy Credits is on minus ( over -500 per month ), the same with crystals. My admin. cap is 540/120, and I literally can't do sh*t because my robot's empire die faster from awfull managment than from sword. Is there any way or cheat to abonnden my planets?

Resettle everyone off them. Use neutron sweepers

Tweak the purge settings, my memory of your options is blurry but there's like a scale from "kill them slowly while they work" to "kill them fast but they will still use your resources".

You don't need to abandon your planets, just fix them. Remove unnecessary infrastructure - especially Laboratories - to get more pops back into worker jobs, and lower your influence.

You're probably also over your station cap, so remove a few until you're within your cap again - lots of energy to be saved.

Districts and buildings cost energy upkeep and districts also increase empire sprawl so you want to remove as many of them as possible.
In addition to what Ryika said about stations over the cap, take into account that station modules also cost energy upkeep. So consider destroying those as well if you dont need them.


ps: energy minus just reduces stuff like ship power and minerals from jobs. Being in the negative for a while is not a problem for a machine empire.

removing everything one at time is time consuming and quite boring task

it's significantly more effective to resettle everything but 1 pop (that will be purged on next month) to conserve 200 influence and recolonize planet when you have sufficient amount of "spare" pops

empty planets with lots of districts do consume sprawl and energy and districts cannot be disabled.

Don't conquer them in the first place?

Just have your fleets use armageddon bombardment to kill everybody on the planet. Then when you're ready to take an an extra planet you can colonise it yourself. You'll also save a lot of money by not having to pay for ground armies any more too.

Robots DO have a bureaucrat-analog through 'uplink nodes', IIRC. It takes a lot of bandwidth to have that many 'bots running around.

Damn, it sounds like you did not only miss the slight hints of issues,.. or the flat out screaming at you to change your course, but you really tried hard to get you in as bad a position as possible. ;-)

Rush the colossus project then just nuke these worlds. For the time being though you can just resettle the pops off of them to abandon them if you have enough influence. This will be hugely expensive though.
