It's already on slowest sadly. I'll have to take a look at the pro's and con's of underclocking I have a feeling that's just the same thing in reverse as maxing out resources.
I'd rather not pause if I can.. huh anyone want to design a mod that pauses and unpauses rapidly? Maybe that *could* work. Do it fast enough and you shouldn't even notice the jitter.
It definitely won't work in multiplayer, and I do not know if it'll work properly in singleplayer, but at least it should.
When actually looking at game, make script resume application and stop itself (for example autohotkey script that resumes application and halts itself on key press).
EDIT: now that I think of it, cheat engine had speed hack that could also slow down games, maybe that's what you need?
I haven't and probably won't (though I'm open to the idea) play multiplayer... but I often don't play these games 'properly' more of just enjoyment to 'keep the balance'. It's like a fish tank eventually.
Pretty much but there doesn't appear to be such a mod.
Not quite that's easy enough to do in the game set up screen, no I actually want the days to slow down. Maybe I'm just at that point in my life where the days seem to becoming increasingly shorter and I just want to prolong them as much as possible? Hm.
In theory I could slow down the ship speed and that would solve a big part... but that starts to impinge on balance an awful lot and can make tech far more attractive than it really needs to be.
