We need more bio/living ship sets
Out of curosity I did a quick search for any ship styles in workshop that had a 'flood' or organic aesthetic and only found prethoryn ship styles. Ever since lithoids the idea of having living ships is actually a pretty cool idea imo and I always found it weird that you can play as hive mind or devouring swarm that has everything biological themed except their ships, which are the generic vanilla ship types which is oddly out of place considering the flavor text you get so often on the tradition page.

It's weird why a biological ascended empire can't even design living ships... :\

I did eventually find one mod, that had unique bio shipsets called Projeck Ark but even then it still suffers from bugs the prethoryn ships do so it's not completely perfect. An official side dlc based around hive minds or maybe just an update would at this point be greatly appreciated

Hi there.

Totally agree. But not only ships, what about structures ttoo, and some techs?. It would be nice to to play as flood, zerg, alien (avp), insectoid (starship troopers), tyranids, and others; how could be that with many possibilities as they set, they didnt think of this (or at least did not make it happen). In any case, totally agree, need organics llifeforms capable of evolving.

Have fun

Honestly, we just need more shipsets in general.

Organic ships with food for upkeep instead of energy credits, and half the alloy costs as triple/quadruple the food cost.

To be fair why would you even want to? A ship that poops and has no lasers? where is the fun in that?

Lasers can just be written off as militarized bioluminescence. Also in-game biological engineering gives you the ability to create the smartest species with erudite with 20% research output while others even machines only have 10% with logic engines or intelligent. Biological engineered ships with that tech could make them significantly stronger with better ship computers.
