Tips on population growth?
This is the main issue I am having (one that can't be solved because you will always want more) with the game right now. I've figured out just about everything else except the trade market so far. I just need more pops. I know about the 'decisions' tab as well as setting the food policy to where it gives a bonus, also the healthcare edict. Any and all tips for encouraging population growth would be appreciated.

Several buildings increase population growth rate, the medical building can get up to 25% and the cloning building adds another 33%. Immigration can also be pretty huge, especially once you have several decent sized planets that can send migrants or if you have migration treaties. Having available housing and jobs also creates a demand for immigration, so create some jobs. I see a lot of people saying they wait until there is unemployment to create jobs, so they're missing out on that immigration growth.

Yeah...this is probably the worst aspect of 2.2 in my opinion...pop growth needs to get a pretty big boost in my opinion. Even with all the buffs on that you can get, you will be spending a lot of game time just waiting for pops to grow. Robots seem to be built slower now too.

I started resettling a large amount off my capitol or other high population planets...having three or four decent planets is better than having one good planet with the rest not really doing anything. It lets me get that first building slot faster.

between 2 and 3: complete harmony tradition tree. 1, aka Fast breeder, has been nerfed to +10% for 2 trait points. Expensive trait now.
