I wanted to know how much battlepower i should count into Leviathans since no matter how late ingame i am they always show a skull xD

Unless you counter them it's roughly 25k I think.

Speak to the curators, they can give you an estimate of how well your fleet might perform and they sell damage-boni against Leviathans as well as giving you some hints how to fight them.

In general look at their composition (is the leviathan in question more armor or more shield reliant and what kind of defense his weapons are good at penetrating) and arm your ships accordingly.

That depends on which one you are fighting. Every leviathan is unique and has a unique strategy for beating them.

- Ether drake - A combined assault with either Corvettes + battleships or Destroyers + Battleships is best vs this one. It has a very powerful main weapon that can potentially one-shot battleships, so you will probably need an escort. Corvettes on their own just don't do enough damage to kill this thing before they are all destroyed.

- Enigmatic fortress - Again, combined assault. I found that the best approach is to send about 40 torpedo corvettes to attack and destroy the outer platforms. Once those are gone, send in at least ten battleships to assault the main structure. Corvettes will not do enough damage to the main structure on their own and battleships will get taken out if not provided with an escort.

- Dimensional horror - Battleships and cruisers are the way to go. Destroyers and corvettes are not recommended due to this leviathan having 100% accuracy and infinite attack range. Evasion scores mean nothing again all but its main devouring beam. Cruisers ideally would be the best fit to kill it, but battleships undoubtedly do more damage.

- Dreadnaught - Corvettes swarms are the best way to counter this thing. Its main weapons will demolish battleships, but have significant issues hitting corvettes. Arm your corvettes with torpedos and preferably disruptors to get the best effect. 40 good torpedo corvettes should do the trick.

50k is enough to beat basically every Leviathan if you are just brute forcing it.

Corvette Swarms are basically the best way of beating all the leviathans because either they have only one or two really big single target attacks (Ether Drake) or they use an aoe that always hits 5 ships (Dimensional Horror) which hurts larger ships more than smaller ships simply because you have fewer large ships to lose than a swarm of small ships.
