Very strong + Psionic army with lots of assault army tech upgrades, if you ask me.
Maybe with some giant creatures mixed in ^^

very strong and cybernetic is a good combo too. at least until my assimilators get the good death bots going.

such a great find for me last game i played them. fanatic purifier right next door with very strong trait. nobody cared when i took half their territory until suddenly i was throwing them at everyone else

Each one has it draw back like zenomorphs cause a lot of extra damage to the planet and population while psionics recks moral, clones are good for fast and cheap troops in a pinch but are weak compared to things like gene warriors, I think they did a much better job at giving each army there own little bonus and draw backs, I personaly like Gene warriors I tend to build my armys up inbetween wars so I have more than enough time to build them, I love erudite so they are the go to troop for the genetic path for me

Titanic Beasts
From personal experiance i would say driod armies are the best.
There not the strongest but they have above avarage health and no moral.

Slave armies are good as cannon fodders(human wave tatics)

Gene warriors, psion warriors, etc.
By the time they show up you probley wont need them(either you have conquered the galaxie, are dead, or most likely are in a stalemate)
They are primarly stalemate breakers.

Titanic beasts are too expensive.
And have a limet of 3 in total(meaning you cant replace dead onces)
And any large army will kill them.
Still they can be used for capturing poorly defended places.

But on a whole i would recommend driod armies for offence and organic armies for defends(In case the driods deside they want to rule themself)

Question does any of the armies subtract Pops from the world in question?

mega warforms. I once built 20 of them and proceeded to take 50 different planets over several wars and didnt lose a single one

unfortunately they are limited to machine empires and I think synth empires. some people I know say gene warriors are supposed to be their equivalent but that doesnt seem to be the case in my experience (even though it makes sense)

Mega warforms are the robot equivalant of titanic lifeforms, i'm not sure if they're exactly the same, but they do have much in common, like doing tons of collateral damage.

Mega warforms cause 100% more collateral damage and don't have any morale unlike titanic beasts which have 600.

Both do the same morale damage but the titanic beast does 4.5-9 damage and the mega warform does 6-12 damage.

no, but they are limited by the number of pops of a species on how many you can build
