I got collosus tech after defeating fallen empire, and I got perk after that. Now I have option to build collosus but i do not have any weapons for it.
Any solution?

Meh a collosus just uses heaps of resources, I built one once, got more effect out of a Battleship Fleet so I never built another one, I'd prefer to save the resources for something that's actually effective.

Take off auto generate and put a weapon into it.

i do not use autogenerate, so that was first thing to do. It just miss all W weapons in weapon list and research options.

Then it's a bug. It should give you the weapon you chose duing the Colossus project.

Wait what? You can reverse engineer a colossus? How?

Is this a mod? I've trashed a couple of Awakened Empire Colossus ships and never gotten the ability to build one as a result.

Ah that's the problem. Defeating Fallen Empire Colossus and getting research from reverse engineering it is a bug. It won't give you a weapon if you unlock a Colossus this way.
so it is a bug... where can i report it and how to make colossus functional???

Usually (as mentioned) you choose one in an event and you get the others you can have later on as rare tech options. Problem is that with this bug, I got no idea if you will get them as tech-options. Since they are rare-techs not getting them in 180 months is not really conclusive, waiting for the right rare tech sometimes can take decades.

Question is, can you build it without a weapon? You wont be able to kill off planets with it but you might at least get the total-war CB (wich is imo the really good thing about them)

And reporting bug: Paradox Forums

You can only have one anyway

Yeah I had Titans with the same issue. All you need to do is go into ship designer and add the weapon.

problem is he doesnt have the tech for any of the collosus weapons. Wich is different with Titans because you get the hull and the weapon with the same tech.
I am in repeatable tech with all three branches, so I expected that 180 months (two full turns of tech) will be enough to get rare weapons... maybe I have to wait more. will update if i got any W tech.

Exactly, pointless and unrealistic, if I had the resources I'd build ten and make an actual fleet, not just one slow arse lumbering thing that's best effect is to ruin planets I'd want to dominate.

A) Their best effect is to give you the total war CB
B) They DON'T have weapons to fight in fleet-battle, whatever you expected
C) There are weapons for them that don't ruin the planet

Before you complain nonsense next time maybe check your facts.
