i prefer to deal with my immediate neighbors and deal with other empires as i encounter them and they become relevant to my empire. not going to fly halfway across the galaxy to fight someone
Playing 2000 star galaxy with 31 AI and 5 Fallen and 3 marauders, on Captain difficulty, their are still massive chunks of space that’s unclaimed.
And noone even dares to attack guardians cause I have isb mod at hard level setting that scales guardians all the time (plus 2 ai improving mods). So no ai or me is ever even close to have power to defeat them. So all goes around those guardian systems.
If you get the Playable Guardians Redone mod like I have, it buffs guardians to the way the were SUPPOSED to be, but PDX has so many errors in the files that most guardians lost strength.
And it let’s you get Guardians when you defeat them.
And since Pdox always has chance of bugs you could find something broken after 50 hours... Not worth it.
Medium and large are ok
Huge maps are way more fun because there is more stuff to explore, more anomalies, guardians, and more room for more empires.
All games have a chance of bugs
Yeah, EG- Larger Galaxy Sizes.
I have mods, I don’t get bored. Plus if I get bored I can use commands to summon the crisis.
