Is hallowing a Gaia world worth it?
So basically, i am playing as a fanatic spiritualist. Boot up a game with default settings and boom, i got 2 Gaia Worlds in very close proximity to my capital super ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ early (1 star away from it). Is it worth it hallowing one of them and is it even worth it hallowing a Gaia world in general?
Here is why i am asking:
The first is 15 pop size world with Betharian stone and a modifier "Natural Beauty".
The 2nd is a mocking 23 pop size world with "High Gravity" modifier but with a ton of energy and physics research scattered on it.

Mmm to answer your question in general, yes it's worth it. Would I do it on those? Probably not. Too early and too big. The 15 isn't that big, true, but I wouldn't toss away early betharian.

Yeah my rule for Hallowing is anything 14 and under with no inherent bonus. I'd probably hallow the 15 if the Betharian stone was the only thing on it and it was in a system with no other colonisable planets though.
If you can terraform to Gaia it doesn’t really matter.
It's great if you don't plan on colonizing it.

Especially great if it's a Holy World and colonizing it would have some "repercussions", so you end up with an opinion bonus towards the Holy Guardians.

This largely depends on your gameplay situation. If you are playing life seeded civic, then you need all the gaia worlds you can get, and hallowing would be far more detrimental than colonizing. If, or when, you get the gaia world terraforming perk however, then it becomes fairly irrelevent.

Any Gaia world bigger the 16 tiles are colonised unless hallowed by a fallen empire.

Any hallowed world of a fallen empire, I hallow too if I'm a spiritualist empire

Most people using life-seeded are playing tall, so the unity would be worth it.

Hallow the holy worlds, you get a bonus relationship.

I think you misunderstood my question. Those Gaia worlds aren't holy worlds. They do not belong to a fallen empire. Also, a little side note, the 15 pop world has 2 spots with Betharian stone on it.

hallowing gives 10%+ unity boost as long as its uncolonized. and makes the faction happy id just say to colonize the double betharian stone. cause that's alot of energy early. Through you should only hallow a if you can waste the influence. cause those are needed to expand a bit. so dont try it early. if you feel like you do not need to use the influence on expanding. you could go for that 10%+ unity bonus.

If it's a small Gaia world, yes.

I believe the Spiritualist Fallen Empire will gain a hefty relations boost with you in you Hallow one of their Holy Worlds.

Spiritualists are pretty darn OP for getting Unity. The only thing that can match them in a Rogue Servitor with maximum Morale.

In my current multiplayer game with 0.75 cost, by the time I got Unity Ambitions unlocked, I had completed the tradition tree and could afford 4 ambitions.

But still. colonize the Gaia worlds cause they are usually worth it. 22 gaia worlds are a blessing.

but im going to go pure on the question itself. Hallowing a planet is costly. but its permally. meaning ones its done. its done. and you get the perma 10%+ unity effect. usually you should Just wait if you get a FE Holy world in your empire. if i remember. it Haves a preference on the random choosing of the thing.
''Is it worth it'' questionablly. it does increase the general happiness of your pops due to the hallowed world giving a bonus to the Spirtual faction. and if you like unity. its usually decent. but you should get it a bit late. usually when expansion isnt usefull. or can be delayed.
