How to bring back isolated fleet?

So I was on war and my fleet ended up blocked by borders of empire I had no war with so I can't leave now until I get access to Jump Drive or declare war. Pressing B just makes my fleet repeatedly attempting to travel to home base but they just sit there and do nothing.

Is it bugged or you just can't do that with military ships?

If it is bugged is there some cheat command to move them manually or get control of system?

use the return button. if it isnt changed you should get a window saying fleet has no path and will go missing.
unless the new update changed it thats the vanilla way

Yeah I can't even decelare a war to free my fleet in a similiar situation because federation refuses as we are already fighting an end game crisis. Can't leave the federation either because we are fighting the ancient custodians due to endgame crisis.... Return button just causes an endless loop of "Moving to home station" -> "idle" . Now the ghost signal dudes are free to munch munch trough my territory while I stare at the screen with impotent rage =)

B key is "return" button shortuct. Pressing "return" does the same thing. I know about emergency FTL, I used it plenty on science ships auto exploring who would often get blocked, but it doesn't work anymore, at least not on military ships.

Yep, this is excetly the same I'm having, except I've just had Khan go wild in the middle of my empire and 30% of my fleet is stuck. I guess this save goes into "wait for bugfix" folder.

I'd really like to continue that save, so does anyone have any idea how to get the fleets unstuck? Would removing the starbase help somehow? If this indeed is a bug, perhaps reverting to an older save would allow the fleet to move? Or am I just doomed because they technically are in my territory, just don't have any hyperlanes?

Never actually tried before, but is there a way to abandon a system and if yes would that help?
