Favorite ship set?

Vanilla or Mod. Or both.

Mine from the vanilla is probably the plantoid ship set oddly enough. Mostly due to their shape rather than the color (I have a mod for the colors). Favorite mod is probably...oh god this is difficult. Probably kurogane, but strega and tall white are close seconds.

EDIT: Least favorite too if you want to. Probably mammalian for me. Perfectly functional looking, just boring really.

The covenant ships from Sins of the Prophets look really cool, and someone recently posted a Protoss ship set from Star Craft that looks awesome. All the ones you said are great too, though! I usually play Strega because I usually play evil

Ancient but tidy, sleek, awesome, badass and superior tech.

I wasn't sure at first, but I've started with Avian (after a quick false start with humanoid), and many of the ships are gorgeous.

My only complaints are that the science ship is a bit much (like if the Romulans designed the batmobile), and that some of the prettiest combinations of sections would make bad ships (mixed weapon sizes). I'm going to end up with carriers simply because they look awesome.

Molluscoid or Avian. I like both of these ship sets the most. Least favorite would be reptilian and mammalian. In Star Trek New Horizons the Romulan ship set cause,come on people, lets admit the Romulans are the best species in the entire Star Trek Galaxy.

In vanilla I've always been a big fan of the plantoids. I really like the big solar panels and the general sleekness of the style. It actually looks like a real-life SHIP.
