How to give full citizenship to robot?
Changing citizenship from servitude to full citizenship or to residence makes them undesirables instead! What am I doing wrong? How to fix?

Edit:
I performed Synthetic Evolution.
I have multiple robotic races.
Only two of them have full citizenship.

check in your demographic

if your pop is already xenophobe it doesnt help to give robot full citizen

so wait the robot/pop war and chose robot side

He means after you've conquered a world from a hive-mind robot empire. I wasn't able to find a solution to keep the robots alive either.

you can't keep machine empire robots, they need their central processor to be in charge of them or they fall apart. same goes for hive mind populations, without their overmind they die

Which really bums me out, since they willingly submitted to being my vassal, and then willingly integrated into my empire...

And then all fell over dead.

That ain't right, man.

There is no "they" in the case of those sorts of empire, all those robots are mindless drones, they didnt fall over dead, the AI gave up a planet and powered off those drones.

I had no wars with machine empires.
I builts most of the robots myself.
Some of them I bought on slave market or from events.

Ok apologies, i was confused because people were saying you were talking about a hive mind. I see now it was someone projecting their problem onto you.

I have the exact same problem. I cannot change my species own robots rights from servitude to full citizenship or if I do it is set to undesirable. But I can change the rights for other robots like from the limbo event chain.

The AI rights are set to citizen rights
I am a fanatic materialist / authorian government

Has anyone a solution for this?

Having the same problem, only all of my species are orgs and the robot species in question is the default assembled one.

Did you check what your robot workers and ai rights policies currently are?

Can't you assimilate them?
I know atleast hivemind pops can have their hivemind affiliation removed by evolution mastery empires and vice verse with hivemind assimilating other pops.

For me, I notice whatever I have the default new species status (let's say it's "resident"), then when I first meet a machine empire, or random robots show up in the list, they are always listed at first as "resident". However, if I simply click on the robot or machine species, it will immediately change it to "undesirable". One time, I meet a machine Fallen Empire, and didn't want to piss them off, so I was very careful the entire game not to click on their species in my species list, and they remained listed with "resident" status. I don't know if this is a workaround to the problem, and if there are even any benefits to this, but thought I'd toss it out there, and also curious if anyone else does this.
