Piss a fallen empire off and they'll take care of it for the low price of humiliation. Can't be more humilated than you already are, right?

Looks like you trigger the rare horizon signal event, it can spawn dimensional horror at your system.

It can't do anything to your planet as far as I know. You could always follow Mihaps advice and get a fallen empire to deal with it for you.

If that won't work, your only hope is probably to build a fleet capable of killing it in another system. Focus on tanky ships that can soak up a lot of damage with close-range high DPS weaponry. Corvettes are the wrong way to go with this one, since the DH has many attacks with 100% chances to hit.

Sorry I misread his reply. I dint realise it was advice lol Ive started again as no fleet I built would engage it. It seemed to have either glitched or some issue where it wouldnt initiate combat ... although it did kill my star base so god knows

sounds like you had the bug that goes away if you save and reload. but it also sounds like you rejected the worm's love so i feel you kinda deserved it

The only thing a space alien in your home system does is stop you from building a spaceport. Doesn't stop the pops from being productive and you can build spaceports elsewhere.

Rejecting the worm is sometimes the way to go, I for example did that because I'm not gonna sacrifice my scientists and frankly I dont want to deal with a massive event chain that could change my empire when i'm fighting x5 Prethryons
