repugnant because I go full purger and an extra -25 to opinion there isnt a big deal.
Well, slow breeders hurts you when you colonize worlds and it significantly hurts your mid game when you want to start building tall and your pops mature in 4 years.
Weaker armies is trivial. Just bombard them more, or land with more troops. Or take over other species or invite other species to your worlds, so that you can use them as your troops.
(Weak in conjunction with anything that ups science is a really good move for xenophiles in particular, since if you're taking other races into your fold, you might as well make them as specialized as possible.)
Beyond that, -5% minerals is the most insignificant hit you can take outside the two disadvantages you already mentioned, and it is, as previously said, negated by powered exoskeletons (frequently in the first batch of techs), and any non-spiritualist can just build robots for a +10% racial bonus to minerals. The -5% minerals doesn't affect space stations, either.
Repugnant (usually conquer anyways, so doesn't matter)
Sedentary (i discourage migration usually)
Weak (can counteract with technology)
Lower habitat still limit your max hapiness and reduce growth, honestly if you're going to pick that just pick slow breders and solitary.
Weak is probably the best choice. I like sedentary too since it has little negative impact for most of the game (only downside is when you have a lot of full planet and a lot of empty planet.
Deviant can be interesting, but it'll probably end up harming your influence gains in the long run.
Mostly avoid non adaptive, solitary and decadent (unless you use slave).
