Did you Overclock for Stellaris?
My phenom II x4 955 @3.2 ghz BE was chugging on the heavy use cpu in super fasforward mode, so I overclclocked it to 3.6 and now I can reliably run in that speed mode.

It's kinda odd that a game made now utilizes multicore, but only in such a limited fashion that it still uses primarily 1 cpu.
Why didn't they spread out each ai across the cpu's evenly?

Do they not have a multicore familiar programmer or was it just way to much extra work?
It seems like it'd be worth it to me, since stellaris can use a crapton of cpu on fast forward modes and it gets boring waiting for things to happen in normal mode.

The interest as i understand it is we will endure quite a few paied feature releases that we are supposed to be greatfull with as the 'patches' adjust and fix the new dlc while the problems with the game that have exsisted since before pub release will not be adressed. Its all in the offical forums, steam forums, and dev dir's. Not much more to it than that. Dont believe me? look for yourself. its in the news, forums, and patch notes. Decide for yourself if the future looks as grim to you as it did me.
