Impossible Dathnak relocation mission?

So I got one of the missions to move a race from a gas giant to another world. Done it plenty of times now, so no big deal.

So I thought. This time, they wanted me to take them to a world that's pretty much halfway across the galaxy (playing biggest map size). I've not explored anywhere near where they want me to be. There's no way I can get there in time, let alone complete the relocation.

I've had the same thing happen to me every single time I've gotten that anomaly since Utopia was released. Might just be bad luck, but I don't remember it ever placing the location that far away before 1.5.

hell half the time they want me to relocate them to the middle of some devouring swarm hive mind. I'm just not going to war over that ♥♥♥♥.

I made a post last night about taking quests where it is impossible to finish/complete. I chose to kill ancient miners which I had already scouted but were halfway across galaxy and they were gone.

I chose to kill space amoeba which were somewhat closer and upon arrival they were already gone.

I don't save-scum like most others so maybe that is what I need to start doing to bypass these buggy quests.

the Problem is, if something is hostile to you (events) its hostile for everyone, so in your case the Ai just killed it. heck they saved my planet from asteroid before i even could warp the fleet there.

I feel bad for them when they request to be relocated within a FE's borders. Just luck of the draw.
