Anyone having major glitches ruining game play?

I WANT to love the game but it is incredibly frustrating when it glitches or character moves beyond my control.

I was intrigued by the game story and environment as well as the character herself, I tried to play the first few levels with lots of lag thinking it was my computer. I have since got a new computer and ran the game again I cannot pass the Pipe Down level because when I try to kill the rats my character repeatedly moves in a way I am not controlling and is sent towards the centre where I then cannot move. Additionally weird glitches like trying to fight a large rat in one of the beginning levels all of a sudden I was sent to a checkpoint where I then somehow walked past my own self leaving the Red riding hood character in multiple places and would restart I could walk past her and all of a sudden had abilities I didn't have before like walk on water without being affected but that went away after I beat that level.
I know I got this on sale not sure what I paid for it but very disappointed that I cannot enjoy the game because of major glitches.
