Bug with the gate in the big rat/Pied Pieper Boss room

I don`t know if someone encountered this problem but I am having a bug with the gate where Pied Pieper is hiding during the big rat boss encounter.

I know how the boss fight works, it`s just the fact that after I defeat the rat and last wooden ledge is broken, the gate closes itself and I can`t open it and I have nowhere to go.
Trying to use the red gear wheel does absolutley nothing and there`s no chain or anything to interact or break in order to open the gate.
