Game won't launch. Not again PG!

Got the game from the recent flash sale and installed. Game won't launch, screen flashes and nothing happens. Tried verifying cache, reinstalling/different drive, compatibility option, etc.. The same thing happened to me with MGR. At least in MGR, I managed to actually run the game once then it stopped working. I don't know if its a PG thing or its my system. I can play other titles both old and new ports easily (Valkyrie Chronicles and Dark Souls 2 Scholar), I don't understand this issue.

I have already posted this on PG's community site and I hope I get a feedback soon.

Has anyone tried installing on a different system? I believe I encountered the same problem with Max Payne 3. I managed to run it using my old laptop albeit low visuals. I might try reinstalling it there and see if it runs.

It works flawlessly for me. (Windows 7, i7-4790K, r9 290, installed in G:\)

It works flawlessly here... is your steam folder on a usb drive ? It doesn't work with some games.

I solved my problem, in my case it appeared only a white screen and the game did not start.

I just installed DirectX that came with the game. Go to the game's folder and install the DirectX.

Deleting the SystemData.dat file in My Documents/Korra seemed to fix it.

Deleting SystemData didn't work for me, but compatibility mode (for windows 8, I'm running W10) did! Weird stuff

Howdy folks. Reinstalled this recently, but got this issue. I can't seem to find a DriectX installable anywhere, though - I've looked in Documents/Korra and C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Legend of Korra

Anyone know where the DirectX install file is located with this game? Am using Windows 10 with Radeon 5700 and DirectX 12

For anyone that is having issues, my problem was solved by disabling my internet on thr first lunch, after that the issue was no more.

Install on:
Windows 11 Pro last build up to the date of this comment.
On a external Hard drive.
With the default document folder on a second NVME Drive...

I tried the direct X solution and nothing and the deleting the file on my documents and nothing...
