Example to Others (all-female team) is a bit challenging at first, because you only got on melee female hero (Folka). In my opinion, you gotta get used to using Rain-of-Arrows traps to contol advancing enemy units; this requires anticipating AI movement patterns, which ain't too complicated really (they just come at you!). Apart from that, it's all straighforward: Break > Puncture. In my experience, you will struggle a bit in the first 5-10 battles, but once you get your archers to Rank 6 (second abilities), it will go fine. Near the end, it will even turn easy, as you'll be doing massive Puncture+CRIT damage from long distances etc.
When I did this cheevo there was a bug concerning the two female Horseborn heroes (Canary & Derdriu) -- using them forfeited the achievement! These (also ranged-attack) heroes have got really useful abilties and will be a big help for you: Poison can be used to wear-down high-ARM enemies while Pin can stall high-mobility ones.
Okay thanks! And I hope the bug is fixed by now :) I will give it a try!
Zefr glyphs spell is good too.
Also doing no death and no horn in this run.
And maybe 180 minute
Was easy. All archers are insane. Puncture man lol.
Slag Burn is best ever. Oddleif and Yrsa was slagging everyone.
Rain of arrow in a circle around when fighting eyeless was great
Easy is a chore, really. I thought about putting a penalty on myself (e.g. no items or even no promotions) to enjoy it, but in the end I just did it for the cheevo, so I blazed through using six raiders.
Quad Core is interesting and rather challenging in a couple of boards, including #40. I did it on Normal (not sure if anyone has done it on Hard) and it was fine & fun. Good luck there ;)
