Trying to install Banner Saga 2 on mac

Hello, I've played this game before on my mac (64hrs), I uninstalled on my mac because there were some loading errors occurring. I'm now trying to re-install it, and when I do it goes to 100% installed but then says 'download paused'. When I hit 'play' in the steam library, a text box shows up which reads as follows:
"An error occurred while updating The Banner Saga 2 (disk write error) :
/Users/JT/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/tbs2/The Banner Saga 2.app/Contents/Frameworks/Adobe AIR.framework/Resources/cs.Iproj"

What do I do in order to correct this? (note: I uninstalled and then attempted to re-install again, the same issue occurs with the same text box showing up).

You can try manually wiping (deleting) all files from:
(a) the game-installation folder
(b) the user-data folder
before proceeding with a now fresh installation.

You can manually back-up your saves, but if you have Steam cloud enabled, they are already safely stored "up there".

i know its a old subject , but i just has the same problem.
I fix it : just by deleting the folder tbs2 (i thought i had too download the game again like Aleonymous said ,but maybe was a doublon)
