The Banner Saga 2
5 Hours of gameplay?
So I beat the first one on two playthroughs, hard and normal difficulty. Total play time: 10 hrs.

So like, will this also only be a three hour game will there actually be content this time? Don't get the me wrong, the artwork is nice and all, but I kinda like some game with my video games.

I did tree runs, one at release and two subsequent ones a few months ago, with a total of 37 hours. I think I took 12 hours for the first one.
Maybe you are a very fast reader and player ?

My first playthrough was more like 14-15 hours, because I read everything (not a native english speaker) and took my time with all the battles, trying for optimal outcomes etc. Subsequent playthroughs were also in the ~12 hours as most of my time was put in battles.

Also curious about this.
the game is just a 15 minute FMV.

The game is not meant for rushing through. If you finished it in 3 hours I assume you don't know how to enjoy a good game.

Steam stats show an aeverage of 11 hours per playthrough for TBS1 and we're hopeful TBS2 produces a longer average playtime.

We are either dealing with a true prodigy here, that managed to speed-run the game on his first try. Or someone who finished the game a couple of times on another account or off steam, and came here for attention, once he finished a speed-run here.

This rant is ridiculous anyway, because at the price of this game, even 10 hours is enough so that if you split the price in those 10 hours, the rate is ridiculously cheap.

Yeah the game is a bit short, but it's a cheap game too. And it's part of a trilogy. Put the 3 parts prices together and their lenghts, you have the same lenght than the games they usually sell at 3 times the price of this one.

Circle complete.

I freaking loved the first game, but it was a bit short. I had so much fun playing I was a little disapointed when there wasn't more to play, so I can understand the original posters point, if not agree with his bratty way of making it.

I never felt that the first game was too short. But the more Banner Saga, the better

its not hard to speed run this game: smash your spacebar as fast as you can. Thats also how you skip the game. Whatever floats your boat I guess.....

That's more like sinking your own ship than making it float lol

If it's anything like Banner Saga 1, then I'd anticipate I'll get more than an order of managnitude more than what you describe.
