Guide for how many days travelling between locations
Is there a guide indicating approx days travel between locations so I know how many supplies to stock up on?

I appreciate that certain decisions and resting will have an impact, but a rough guide would be handy to get the High Spirits achievement, I need to rest enough to keep morale high without risking running out of food.

Thanks.

Somebody had made much such a map/chart for Saga1; haven't seen one for Saga2, yet. I suppose the map distances should approximately hold. Approximately...

I was also wondering about this so in my newest playthrough I started to record the days/distances and such. I'm only on chapter 10 tho

I started recording but I think I messed up chapter 8 lol. At the start of chapter 9 (edit: chapter 10) I've got no food, so I'm hoping for some lucky events that might give me some food to help out.

Did you buy all the food you could at the start of chapter 8? Also, do you know if difficulty effects morale/food? I might have a playthrough on easy if it does just for High Spirits achievement.

Finally got the achievement after a lot of reloading. TBH the first few chapters were the hardest for me, once I had enough renown to buy a few days supplies at every market in the later chapters morale wasn't much of an issue as I could rest whenever it was needed.

This guide was invaluable for keeping morale up, but it contains *SPOILERS*:

In fact I made the game harder by not spending enough renown levelling up in the later chapters and ended up with surplus food towards the end of the game. But the one thing I didn't want to do was run out of food :-)

Hardest part for me was the chasm crossing in Chapter 8, where you risk to either lose all your supplies or suffer a dramatic population loss (and thus morale drop). Also, I wished Forage could be manually executed when you need it most, and not on fixed story points.

Yeah, that part of chapter 8 was a pain, I was desperately trying to save supplies without losing morale or clansmen, etc. on the bridge, Without plenty of supplies and great morale before that point I would have been scuppered! The manual forage is a great idea, you should put that forward for BS3 :-)

:EDIT: I'm not sure if I had many supplies left after that part, but after chapter 10 morale and suplpies weren't such a big issue. If I play through again I'd invest more in upgrading the team after chapter 10.

I think Chasm-crossing was the only "bottleneck" in Skogr caravan. Bolverk's caravan mostly suffers in the beginning of Ch9. Elsewise, both get along quite well after those choke points.
