Can't exit camp menu!

Hey everyone, last time i played i saved while being in a camp (Day 78), and when i tried to start it today i couldn't use any of the buttons avaible in the camp (Leave, heroes, etc.) So i can't continue the game for now. I tried to load game, but it only has my current stuck-game, and a new game file. And i really don't feel like starting over!

Any ideas?

Hmmm, yes. It happens. You might have quit midway through a convo or poppening last time you played, right? How far back is your previous checkpoint-save?

I only got 2 it seems, i haven't been able to find the saves folder, but in the games menu i can only choose the current which is stuck, or a new save.

Yeah, i think i tried to exit during a conversation or something simillar.

Only two saves? At Day 78 you should have about ten checkpoints, at Godstones, Chapter beginning etc. You sure?

Tip: Always quit from the ESC menu when there's nothing going on, e.g. after exiting the Heroes tent or Resting. Exiting abrupty during combat or dialogue may lead to such problems.

I got it working now, i'll deffinantly be more careful exiting the game from now on! :D

Yeah I'm having the same problem. Would love to know how IronVoid got past it. Right after the Godstone Geirradr (day 79 for me) the game forces you into camp. The camp doesn't have any characters to talk to. I can go to the hero tent, rest, and check the map but there is no leave option.

I reloaded a save that was an hour and a half earlier only to get stuck at the exact same spot. I'm at a loss.

I didn't exit the game abruptly at any point.

Edit: I'm an idiot, you just need to rest.

Bit of a necro so sorry for that, but as this is the thread I found up when I googled this problem I figured I might aswell comment about how I got out of the camp right after the godstone Geirradr...

What the game doesn't tell you is that you need to rest as you camp after the godstone, simple as that. Won't spoil but when you do you get a conversation after which you can leave camp.

The game is buggy, there's another one that's been there for ages without being addressed where you end up unable to position any of your characters during the deployment phase of battles, you either end up stuck with a crap deployment and resigned to losing squishies in the first and second turn or you get lucky with the checkpoint saves and you can quit and relaunch the game to sort it without losing progress.
