For the Rugga achievement, I think you have to make him like you during the voyage by making decision he approves of.
EDIT -- Thanks Anarka. No need to side with him in Arberrange to get the achievement.
I wouldn't say so, if you import from a moderately good save.
I only dipped one in the whole game to low morale, not long after the Old woods. I forgot to rest at that time. supplies had never been lower 6 days.
Also thanks for the clarification on Rugga, wasn't sure when the tied achiev was unlocked.
Yes, but: How many people in your caravan? The deal here is that Saga1 was easy to "exploit", killing off your caravan in favor of promoting Heroes. So, a small caravan is easy to uphold in Saga2 with only a few Supplies.
I think it was my most renown sparing run.
Edit : Apologies to you guys.
Turns out there is no need to get old to have terribly bad memory.
I had 130 and 30 days of supplies, which is now in-line with what others said. I was wondering why everyone had so little renown
It brought a bug to view though, so it wasn't all bad. Restarting from the save menu 'Start from the beginning" restarts the game with a basic game, not the import.
I remember this situations, when I got his approval:
1) On the river - either ignore village or return to boats and kill the thieves
2) During crossing the bridge - don't drop his men (drop supplies, if you try to find the third way, his people will be droped and you will be blamed)
3) During saving the town from dredge and housemen - focus on dredge and allow his bodyguard to help from behind
4) In the old forest - When you pass a village, go and kill a fat-4-titles-houseman.
After I did all that I became a cruel monster, he joined me and I got an achievement.
Yes.
However, the no-starvation aspect in my Alette game still doesn't make sense. Never got to zero supplies... any RNG events that might cause 'starvation'? I did look at a flower for over a day that knocked down my supplies from 10 days to 3 days at one point in the Old Forest haha
