Are you sure you are pronouncing it correclty. Did you use the same pronounciating as in one of the videos? And even if you did how is it relevant? There are plenty of titles out there with names that can be pronounced in ways that make far worse translations.

Could it be that you're mistaken with the romanization of the word? I wouldn't know about the origins of it, but a simple google search returns several places and people named "Kharak", including Karachi, in areas that are known today as Middle-east and India.

hem, i'm just a learner of arabic language, and i barely know the alphabed, but i know how words gets constructed in arabic, they build up from a common root, so using the tools i have (google translate) i've tried to write it down the results are:
"خر" (KhR) translates to "esod"
"خرء" (KhRHa) translated to "dung"
"خرءك" (KhRHaK) translates to nothing

now i'm also confused about the root thing, because how dung as a word can emerge from esod makes no sense to me...
