Buy it on GoG, cheaper and better. As steam version dont have any benefits, unlike HW remastered with Workshop (but its ..something like meh "plus")

Benefits on steam are that there'll be far more players to go up against, gog doesn't have many that partake in pvp (check the forums, seeing "pvp" makes many of them break into a cold sweat :steammocking:
There's also no crossplay, so you can't play against steam players if purchase on gog & vice versa.
Also, assuming there are patches sometime in the future, gog are last to get them & some games never get them at all.

Multiplayer's dead no matter what platform you're on and I'll eat my own hat if they ever significantly patch it again.

True, I'd be surprised if there were any patches/DLC, but you never know.
Yeah, it may be very low player pop', but 77 (as of time of typing) is probably way higher than on gog.

I bought the gog version because I'm against the drm. But the choices of other players must be respected. Some prefer to have their games only on steam for simplicity to have a single game library and I understand. Apart from the drm the 2 games are identical (there is not one better than the other).
