Thank you for reaching out.
Most bosses do not take direct damage. Each boss has weakpoints that you must discover in order to overcome them.
Keep an eye out for something that might be standing out on the boss as something you can hit.
Good luck on your next run.
Would the Zap ability work on all of the bosses? I could have sworn I was flying in on, around, and under that Jellyfish for the better part of 5 minutes and not once did it auto-target anything on it or on the screen that would damage it! Only time it ever became an issue was when I mentioned the boss with the teeth-rings that enclosed the area... with the Jellyfish boss still taking up real estate on the screen.
There are lines of dust that go out from the Jellyfish that show where it's health points lie (small cells) around the map. You have to follow the lines and kill all its cells. The big Jellyfish is just an obstacle, it can't take damage.
It's actually the easiest boss out of all of them.
