Reversion Chapter 1 Where'd it go?
I had this in my library for several years and it still has the icon indicating it's in my library, but since I bought chapter 2 it's now gone. Where did it go?

ya i just bought chapter 2 and chapter 1 disappeared most probably because we played it and finished it when it was free now chapter 1 is paid so must be after we bought chapter 2 it disappeared although the achs still count as both chapters are seen as seperate games although now if we want chapter 1 in our library we have to buy it i

Edit-- Nope cant even buy it says i own and only able to gift it to a friend weird and i even had the badge and that has gone too and reset again with four card drops available again

Okay. So if you played this game when it was free then Steam still thinks it's free for you. It's like you "own" it but can't see it in your library after uninstalling etc. I wanted to buy it so I just deleted it from my account here: https://help.steampowered.com/en/wizard/HelpWithGame/?appid=270570 and then bought it.

Of course. But if you want card drops then you should buy it.

A little unethical for the dev, no? To suddenly charge a price for what was once free?

Yeah, just bought 2nd chapter. First one disappeared. Unethical indeed. If I was given something then surely it cannot be taken from me.

If you previously owned it, you might be able to run/install it with one of these:

steam://run/270570
steam://install/270570

I've still got it installed, and I'm not sure if it's free or paid version, so I think I'll pass on trying it out though.
