In-game sensitivity settings
Which DPI and sensitivity do you use in game? Because I'm struggling in finding the best one. Low DPI and higher sensitivity in game, or 1600 DPI and low sens?

what resolution are you running? The higher the resolution the more DPI you should use so you get the most accurate pointer placement.

Im running at 4k on a 50 inch TV so I have my DPI at 3200 and set sensitivity in game pretty low
i had to change it in the ini as even at max it was too slow

I play 2k resolution on a 27 inches monitor
800dpi, w 28 ingame. 1440p 27inch 480 hz
If you're always aiming past targets then turn it down until u find sweet spot for you and if you're not making it to the target then turn it up.

Also what mouse and pad do you use that makes a Huge diff! I use superlight 2 dex w glass skates and a Artisian fx ninja mousepad. Im going to get that new superstrike soon lol they been sold out ...
1600dpi, 17 mouse sensitivity, 1440p 27inch 180Hz
I've used 400 DPI for like 20 years in all games.

In BF6- 33 sensitivity, 17 ads/zoom sensitivity, Uniform soldier aiming ON w/ 0 coefficient. 95fov. 27" 280hz 1440p.

How do you play 1600 dpi with 17 sensitivity, is too high
25,000 DPI on a logitech G502 and about 8.5 in game......1440p 32inch 165hz

its not to fast for me
DPI and sensitivity are two important settings.

Back in my day, if you were really competitive you would mess with the enhanced pointer precision acceleration curve. At one point Windows changed the curve map and everyone got used to it.

What does the acceleration curve do? When you move the mouse really fast for X amount of time it uses this curve to move the cursor, the faster you move the mouse the more it accelerates. I can't remember all the bits and bobs but google it if you're interested. It does make a difference.

If you google XP and Windows 2000 registry keys you can set it back to a more controlled liniar acceleration.
It's still there in the registry so Windows must be using it.

edit:

If you want to try here it is, just make sure to backup the key so you can revert back if you don't like it.

SmoothMouseXCurve and SmoothMouseYCurve 00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,a0,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,40,01,00,00,00,00,00,00,80,02,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,05,00,00,00,00,00.
setting mouse to raw in bf should nullify the windows pointer precision settings, but not all games work correctly. bf does I think.

Works fine for me.
