How to turn off crossplay on PC?

Is there a possibility to turn off Joystick lockers on PC? It's kinda tiring to get lasered with zero recoil players. Or should I just join the party and connect the controller?

Currently can't which is annoying, but you might be able to once the season 2 update comes, they've indicated it as a point of feedback.

It should have been a feature at release, which I advocated strongly for. At this point, the game is dying. Even with 30k players, I'm getting lobbies with like 10 total real players between both teams. BF6 isn't a very good BF game in my opinion anyways. I think it's time to move on and find something else.

Arma Reforger looks interesting, but I'm worried the pacing might be at the other extreme. It doesn't appear to have aim assist, and doesn't seem like they're planning on adding that, so that's a big plus.

Dice dropped the ball hard on this one. They treated the PC population like it was an after thought. There was even an article with one of the leads from Dice saying BF6 was designed as a Console game first. They encouraged testers and devs to use rollers while testing and developing the game. It shows.

So even if they give us a way to turn Crossplay off, they already lost all the goodwill they had. Most PC players that have played other BF titles are not going to return. This isn't a true BF game anyways.

if you're losing against controller players sry but that is really a skill issue. even with aimassist controller players are in disadvantage. i mean they are aiming with their thumbs ^^

90% of my matches controller players are bottom of the scoreboard...

I really want it turned off, I cannot stand to play against auto aim/cheat console players that make impossible shots repeatedly.

The best way I found to do it is to uninstall the game, and enjoy other games until the problem is actually addressed.

Only solution is what I did, just stop playing. I had to start the game to update it. Lasted all of 30 seconds when I joined a lobby and spawn killed .
Turned game off until next update.

You can turn crossplay off via the file PROFSAVE_profile you need to add a line there GstGameplay.CrossPlayEnable 0

Aim assist is literally cheating. You dont even have to aim your stick. It aims for you.

That was patched ages ago with an update. Plus, that's not a feature, it was a work around. It should have been a feature from the start.

Why is it always the biggest potatoes projecting this nonsense? You have a 1.3 KD, calm down bud.

Aim assist is obnoxious. It slows your reticle down over the target, it then sticks to the target, and then roller players don't need to worry about countering recoil or even consider spread. How is that fair? If you actually took a second to watch any run of the mill streamers, you'll notice they move nearly 1:1 to a MnK player, but they also get the benefit of assist. That's absurd.

You can look up actual statistics regarding the accuracy differences between inputs, across all skill levels, and in multiple games. With aim assist, in every game, rollers out perform MnK in almost every single category, and by a good margin. No reason to be this ignorant on this topic, tons of information if you're willing to read a little bit.

At this point the only resolution is to stop playing, unfortunately.

It is clear they do not give a damn about the PC crowd and will never separate lobbies by input device (or provide the option to opt out of controller/mnk mixed lobbies). They are too stubborn, for some unknown reason.

I expect the game to fade into obscurity with a slow trickle of content drops during 2026. A repeat of 2042.

Git gud. Console controller AA and recoil reduction shouldn't matter if your good with MnK. I see plenty of pc players leading the scoreboard with insane KDs.
