AMD GPU crashing
Anyone else experiencing frequent GPU crashes on AMD? 7900 XTX. Feels like this has only started happening with recent updates. Hope it can be addressed.

no issues here on 7900XTX, drivers up to date?
I was, but i think it was because of my old Nvidia drivers. Have you upgraded from an older card to the 7900xtx?
yes, this game forced me to get UTD amd drivers which causes my rx 7600 to crash giving me GPU driver errors. This is a pain in the ass as it crashes after a game or two. if this isnt resolved i will do the same thing i did to cod. delete it and never look back.
no problem with the 7900XT here
Yes, trying to figure it out now. In training session wont crash but as soon as I launch a game it freeze.

They aren't, the bf6 drivers aren't officially out yet. And I'm not using the experimental release or whatever for the drivers. Tends to always have issues.
Crashing on a 9070XT after this update. Was running smoothly before. No fix yet or idk if this is only for us AMD boys.
No problems on my 9070XT, make sure you are using the optional drivers because they contain the BF6 optimizations.
9070XT had 1 really hard crash that took almost 2 minutes for the amd crash report ticket to pop up. also game runs shockingly bad now. i was keeping my game locked at 120 but now its stuttering and dropping to the 90s.

Downloaded the optional right before release (RX 9070) and have had limited issues. Some truth to this
On my RX 7800 XT everything’s smooth af — no issues at all. Performance and stability are straight fire. My CPU’s AMD too, and honestly, my rig’s never had a single problem. Runs clean 24/7.

Nah, that's just your 9070 mine has 0 crashes after 8 or so hour play session today. Even disabled FSR4 to feel my PC temp or if FPS would drop. Didn't even need to lower graphics and could still play locked to 90 as normal. Tried 120 with FSR4 on as well and was blowing out cold air. Definitely would be able to go 180 HZ (with all high+ graphic settings) which is my cap. That's not my priority, tho. Would rather keep my hardware as long as possible.
For me the crashes was solely limited to RedSec mode - Duos or Quads. Gauntlet it's running fine and on the base game multiplayer its fine.
Check GPU thermals, download hwinfo check the difference between you and hotspot if it'smore than 20C you need to replace all your thermal pads not just the thermal paste.

Remount your GPU. Maybe even spritz and wipe a Beez ♥♥♥♥ of WD40 on the PCI slot and gpu connection, or even safer use contact cleaner.

DDU drivers, make sure things like Optiscsler of you use it isn't effecting it.

Oh, I see. Haven't touched those modes yet and may never. Can't speak to that
