AMD Video Graphics Driver Problem

Making this post to share and centralize known issues and solutions to AMD users, since i`m having a lot of issues throughout the updates of the game.

FIrst of all, if your game is crash with error messages such as the below message or something similar, indicating some issue with the Video Driver:
"DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason failed with DXGI_ERROR DEVICE RESET (The device failed due to a badly formed command. This is a run-time issue: The application should destroy and recreate the device.). "

What worked for me and i suggest you do the same:

• Update your windows or other OS.
  
• Do not set up DirectX 12, stay with the DX11 more stable (In this Reddit post there`s a tutorial).
  
• Update your AMD Adrenaline Driver to the preview version with some fixes specifically to the Battlefield 6. You`ll have to download it here. [www.amd.com]

Doing the above instructions worked for me perfectly and I went from crashing the PC ever 5 to 10 minutes to playing non stop for hours. Until...... They released the Season 1 Update today (10/28/25). Game crashing again specially playing RedSec BattleRoyale, but even had some crashes in the equipment menu.

Anyone with any solutions ou news to AMD users?

AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
AMD RX 5700-XT
DirectX 11
Driver Adrenaline 25.10.1

I do not get any errors, I just get full driver hang, my displays just freeze, even if I'm able to speak to people on discord

and It also has gotten much worse after the update. before, I would crash I dont know, every 2-3 days? after the update It happened like 3 times in a row, also, I wonder if its because I was buying the battlepass and I needed to enable steam overlay to proceed? Im going to disable it again and see, I also did change DX12, these are the 2 things I done so far. my hw btw is: 7900XTX Taichi and my driver is 25.Q3.1 Pro and CPU i7-13700K

same idk wtf to do flashes all black several times then comes back after 15-30 seconds to speak and use pc again after updating this bricked ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game

I don't even get that, mine just completely freezes instantly and nothing else, thats it, I have to hard reset the PC. If it keeps happening I will try the battlefield driver, but I dont know..

Also, had an update of the Windows 11 yesterday, have no idea if it relates to something, but the crashes gotten less common after this update. And the crashes seems to be only in RedSec now.

Graphical and Audio Bugs

As you can see I have several graphic bugs that I never had before. In fact I just got them today after I renewed my Pc like cleaning and reinstalling Windows and stuff. I don’t have any programs on my PC except the ones I need (Discord, drivers etc.). Beside that I have Audio bugs where I don’t hear reloads, or other audios.

My pc is good. Rtx 4070super and Ryzen AMD

I played over 100 hours before this ♥♥♥♥ came up. Before these issues I had crashing to desktop without error message, I had crash my pc to blackscreen / bluescreen (your pc ran into a problem…), problems to even open the game as Anticheat tells me something is wrong and my FPS dropped so hard the latency, framerste issue symboles popped up. Now after I cleaned my PC I have new problems as you guys can see. I reinstalled the game aswell as my Windows, updated my Bios, updated my Graphics Driver and chipset driver aswell.

What I tried to fix all this: game launch options, driver updates in every part, different settings ingame (DLSS, Upscaling, low settings, high settings etc.), Cleaning my PC from every unnecessary program (new windows installation). I tried EVERY fix on the damn internet. I am lost on all departments here. If ANYBODY has a solution option, idea whatever. I take everything. Now I got these problems instead of the others AND my refreshrate is also garbage. So this symbol pops up aswell.

yeah the driver is timing out. i too have a 7900 xtx, use amd software to limit your fps. that fixed it for me. should fix other games too.

start at 60 fps see if it's stable then creep up to whatever you want it to be

edit: i play on ultra 1440p with no issues this way

I installed it and the driver got a lot less unstable, but still had a crash in the campaign today.
Reinstalled the driver 25.10.2 and gonna try as suggested below, later I'll come back with news.

I didn't know windows 10 updates your drivers automatically(Turned that off). I did fresh install of the new driver that came out, so now I am also on 25.10.2 (installed myself)

Try using DDU to uninstall your drivers, if you haven't done this allready.

Also, remember with Radeon Cards, you might be able to make your system more stable by going for the 'Basic Install', as opposed to the 'Full Install'. If the problems are that bad, its worth a try.

I will try this. I will not go below 200 because I cba playing below that anyway. I wonder if I should try the bf6 driver preview before

Hello, my game dont even boot up its just that window where it says ''starting anticheat'' then it just shuts off. And this happens same with the The Finals, game just wont boot up. I have newest adrenalin version instaled.
