Why, you made it so that it's MUCH less fun for peaple that don't buy pro please give us back are settings that we already had
Awesome!! I love this game since I purchased back in the earlier days. :D so awesome. Contribution to the dev for making a awesome game.
Pro account = major turn off for me personally
To those pro haters, imagine non-pro as extended demo. 20$ is not too much for this game. Now the blueprints are free, there is less need for microtransactions, which is a good thing.
@cemkalyoncu: I am not hateing up on the pro base or what it holds for it is a good idea and holds some interesting features, it that everyone, and myself, is upset that they took away some features that were free to begin with and made the game fun to play. Now, to continue to have fun with a game that they have downloaded that was free to play, they have now been given a game with free options removed. Now the $20 issue. To some, that may sound alright but to some, like myself, that is a steep price. I mean, look at EverQuest, I boughtit before it went free to play. I did not mind that for it's a good online game. But when they had the package go out, it was also a one shot deal but it was only $9.99, a afordable price for everyone that went to it when it went free. So I'm not hacking on the pro issue, just how they are handling the process and what they heve removed for free players.
Lots of good points on both sides of the new "creativerse pro".

The For: $20 is quite cheap for a game, it helps to fund the dev(s), and what you get for it looks pretty good (I have not purchased anything from or this game itself).

The Against: people in general don't like paywall esque stuff (this exludes those who profit from it), some in-game features got transfered to pro, people get concerned about more stuff getting put behind something paywall esque.

The None-The-Less Good: fresh content, benefical improvements, bug fixes, and a good sized community that speaks it's mind.
I really like this game, but with the pro-membership paywall stuff I don't really want to play anymore.. I was actually just about to get serious and get my boyfriend to play it with me and then I saw the update xD .. Wouldn't it have been better just sticking with a in-game shop where people can buy goodies that you don't -need- to play the game but are a lot of fun to have? I'm sure people who can spend a little extra money on games will buy fun stuff (I would if I had money to spare!). Though I agree it's not expensive, still there are plenty of people who can't afford it. If we had more free time it would be different too, it's easier to spend money on something you spend a lot of time on, not so much on something you spend only a few hours every week on.
Also, taken from your website's FAQ:

''Our goal is to never make players feel "pushed" to make a purchase. Games that do that kind of thing are ever present these days, especially on mobile. People are tired of experiences like that. We're taking a stand *against* that type of design. We're not interested in Pay to Play or Pay to Win. We're making a video game, not a slot machine. There are already a handful of games out there which show this kind of model can work without being exploitative (e.g. Dota 2, World of Tanks, League of Legends). We hope to follow in those footsteps with a store that avoids monetizing the core loop of the game.''
If I can't even keep griefers out without paying, I guess I'll have to stay on the worlds I already made... :/

"Creativerse is a delightful next-generation sandbox game about adventure, exploration and creativity with your friends. And it is now FREE TO PLAY!!!"

I believe you should update your game's description. Here is a draft for you:

Creativerse is a delightful next-generation sandbox game about adventure, exploration and creativity with your friends. At least if you pay 20$. If you don't, you can only have one world and do not have access to "Advanced Options", such as "no pvp" and "peaceful mode".
Just don't make it F2P, If you don't want people enjoying the game for free. Is that too hard to understand?
When I bought this game it was slightly more than 20€ and had less features than it has now and I still gladly payed for it. A 20€ pay once is nothing, especially considering that they also upgraded anyone who only bought coins. You pay far more for games from devs like Ubisoft and EA and their dedication to their playerbase is not even a fraction of a fraction of that of the Creativerse team. Every update and patch introduces changes and additions the community was eager to get. This is one of the rare EA games that I never had any regrets about and you'll have to take my word for it that this doesn't happen quickly. If you want to save money, have one friend go pro, join the same server and enjoy most of the old game benefits anyway. Awesome update Creativerse team!
@Enka Then they shouldn't call it F2P and be done with it. Pushing people to pay is just insidious and nasty.
@Chaotic Horizon, you can play it without paying for it. That is F2P.
