Wood farm ?? fast/easy wood

hi everybody.

i want to know if there is any fast/easy way to get some wood?
maybe a woodfarm?
my friend and me playing together, building some blueprints. there we´ll need like 6000 wood, 2000 slaps .....

i tried some growing-farms but when i cut out the wood there will be left the leaves ... so i need bombs and it took to much time i think.
maybe someone have a good idea for me ?

Fast and Easy no mess wood? Just climb a tree and harvest the wood that cannot be seen from the ground. Then you do not need to remove trees or anything. Anyone walking by would feel like the trees are still complete and you would have your wood fairly quickly.

Also be sure to harvest wood for slabs from surplus tree locations or wood that you do not normally use.

well tree farms are easy to clean by burning the leaves instead of bombing them. just make sure that there are no natural trees nearby that could catch fire.

the best way to get wood are giant trees. they offer a whole lot of wood with relativly low effort. like remy suggested you can make them hollow so that it isnt obvious for others

good idea yes. but for longer time i thinks its going to be difficult to know which tree is already farmed :D

I get most my wood from jungle locations. Jungle has plenty of wood vines and if you go to the top of the trees you will find lots of beeswax too.

you gotta differ between burning and bombing here

bombing refers to directly destroying block via using (excavators and) TNT

burning is an indirect way where you increase the surrounding temperature by using firebombs, and burning material.
burning materials includes lava, and easy flamable things like tar or thatched blocks
